NYE – Enjoy!

Well it’s here. another year almost gone, a new one on the verge of starting. I’m getting older but sure as hell don’t think I’m any wiser!
I spent Midnight 1997 (or ‘96) standing in a line trying to get in to a club in Darwin. We had been there all night but had to go and meet someone. We did the right thing and got passouts so we didn’t have to wait in line again, knowing we’d be close to midnight when we returned. Upon returning we were told we had female passouts! Who’d have thought! Incredibly annoyed we returned to the back of the line. That night I vowed never to do that again.
To this day I haven’t.
And tonight shall be no different.
A quiet night with friends knocking back a few beers as we welcome in 2009.
